The President Who Promotes Inflammatory Conspiracy Theories and Doesn't Like Intelligence

Trump contradicts US intel community by claiming he's seen evidence coronavirus originated in Chinese lab.

President Donald Trump contradicted a rare on-the-record statement from his own intelligence community by claiming Thursday that he has seen evidence that gives him a "high degree of confidence" the novel coronavirus originated in a laboratory in Wuhan, China, but declined to provide details to back up his assertion.
The comments undercut a public statement from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued just hours earlier which stated no such assessment has been made and continues to "rigorously examine" whether the outbreak "began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan."
"Yes, I have," Trump said when asked whether he's seen evidence that would suggest the virus originated in the lab. Later, asked why he was confident in that assessment, Trump demurred. "I can't tell you that. I'm not allowed to tell you that," he said.

What an asshole.

Actually, the whole GOP loves this conspiracy theory, so they can blame China for the attack and deflect from their own failures.

Trump Won’t Rule Out Suing Local Governments to Reopen: ‘It Would Depend on the State’

What an evil asshole.
The president offered words of praise for Attorney General Bill Barr, who told prosecutors Monday to be on the “lookout” for states that may be violating citizens’ civil liberties.

Truly the GOP is a death cult.

Trump Threatens To Withhold Pandemic Relief Aid From States If They Don't Help Deport Immigrants

Trump Orders Meat Plants to Stay Open as Worker Deaths from Coronavirus Rise

The GOP death cult at work:
Trump directed Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue to "take all appropriate action" to ensure that meat companies continue operating under guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The order did not detail additional precautions companies should take to protect workers, which has led to worries among unions and other worker groups. The Agriculture Department has deferred to the CDC and OSHA instead of issuing its own rules. OSHA, however, has not imposed mandatory safety rules and instead only issued recommendations.

Motherfucking assholes.
