Trump lawyer David Schoen says the impeachment is an effort to "disenfranchise" the 74 million who voted for Trump-- an interesting accusation given the two months of attempts by Trump and his cronies to overturn the election and disenfranchise 81 million Biden voters.
Most Republicans vote that the trial is unconstitutional. Mitch McConnell just voted that it's unconstitutional to try a former president after he blocked a trial of Trump while he was president.
