Trump calls America 'stupid' after abruptly leaving Supreme Court debate

He is such a goddamn GOP asshole spoiled idiot manchild -- and just a massive disgrace to the world

President Donald Trump has branded the U.S. “stupid” after attending Supreme Court arguments over his administration's efforts to end birthright citizenship.

He left halfway through the proceedings, and several key justices, including three Trump appointed to the nine-member bench, appeared skeptical of the administration’s arguments to block automatic citizenship.

After the arguments wrapped, Trump ranted on Truth Social, writing, “We are the only country in the world STUPID enough to allow ‘Birthright’ Citizenship!”

Thirty-two other countries, most of them in the Western Hemisphere, have birthright citizenship laws that are substantially similar to the U.S., according to the Pew Research Center. Another 50 or so countries have more limited variations of birthright citizenship.

US to pay almost $1bn to French energy company to kill wind project plan

Really fucking awful shit from the most evil set of GOP assholes yet:

As a fuel crisis triggered by the war in Iran drives up global fossil fuel prices, the Trump administration has announced it will pay French energy major TotalEnergies $1bn to kill plans to construct wind farms off the US east coast.
...
In the deal announced on Monday, TotalEnergies will give up two offshore leases it had purchased off New York and North Carolina. Trump’s Department of the Interior will reimburse the company the $928m it paid for the leases under Joe Biden.

TotalEnergies has pledged not to develop any new offshore wind projects in the country, a US interior department statement said, and will invest nearly $1bn this year in the development of four trains at the Rio Grande LNG plant in Texas, and the development of upstream conventional oil in the US Gulf and shale gas production, the statement said.
...
Lena Moffitt, executive director of the climate advocacy group Evergreen Action, called the new deal “a taxpayer-funded bribe to kill homegrown clean energy and hand the money straight to oil and gas executives”.

Trump draws backlash for comment on Iran war: ‘Maybe we shouldn’t even be there’

What a fucking moronic doofus GOP asshole:

Trump draws backlash for comment on Iran war: ‘Maybe we shouldn’t even be there’ Donald Trump drew a backlash on Sunday for suggesting US efforts to protect the strait of Hormuz were unnecessary – and that “maybe we shouldn’t even be there at all” because his country has plenty of oil of its own.

The president made the contradictory comment to reporters on Air Force One after pleading with European and Nato allies to enter the war against Iran to help the US secure the strait amid the largest oil supply disruption in history.

“Really, I’m demanding that these countries come in and protect their own territory – because it is their territory,” he said. “They should come and they should help us protect it. You could make the case that maybe we shouldn’t even be there at all, because we don’t need it. We have a lot of oil. We’re the number one producer anywhere in the world times two.”

"Trump Will Destroy Washington if It’s the Last Thing He Does"

The head GOP asshole aka the shitblimp in chief is determined to remake Wash DC in his grotesque image.

As Mussolini misunderstood Rome, Mr. Trump misunderstands Washington. Washington was conceived as an expression of democracy, a place in which the largest and grandest public building was the Capitol, where the representatives of the people gathered. The White House is a mansion, not a palace; it is large compared with the average house of its time, but it was never intended to intimidate. In person, especially if you are used to the oligarchic great houses of the Gilded Age of a century ago or the ones that have gone up in the Hamptons in New York or Jackson Hole, Wyo., that typify the age we are living in now, it’s surprisingly human-scaled and lived in. The president resides upstairs, like a shopkeeper over the store of state. There is a simplicity to it, a restraint. And it is not — at least was not before this past year — gilded.

Until now, every addition to the White House — the North Portico, the South Portico, the East Wing, the West Wing — was designed to defer to the original structure and to make it larger without appearing to be making it larger. The East Wing and the West Wing were pavilions, built later and intended to recede beside the White House. (Thomas Jefferson designed the East and West Colonnades before the wings were built.)

The proposed new ballroom, nominally designed by the architect Shalom Baranes but for all intents and purposes designed by Mr. Trump, does exactly the opposite. It is a huge, dumb box. The portico at one end is more than twice the size of the North Portico of the White House, and it doesn’t even serve as a door. It is more like a decorative emergency exit atop a vast staircase leading down to the White House grounds, the so-called President’s Park, which would also be compromised by the enormous addition.

It is not just symmetry that is being thrown away here; it is more than two centuries of respectful deference to building, function and history.

As Mussolini’s hand was apparent in all his schemes for Rome, both the ones that were realized and the ones that were not, the architects working on Mr. Trump’s various projects are more factotums than independent thinkers. Mr. Baranes is well suited to the task, since he has long had a reputation in Washington as an architect who works comfortably with real estate developers and can produce work of whatever type in whatever style his clients want.

James McCrery, who designed the first versions of the ballroom, is a respected classicist who, The Washington Post reported, was uncomfortable with the president’s desire to make the building as big as Mr. Trump wanted it. Mr. McCrery, who stepped aside from his central role in the project, seemingly made the mistake of believing that Mr. Trump had some understanding of the dignity and proportionality of classicism. But the client wanted what he wanted.

Mr. Baranes is not the only architect to have been caught in the trap of serving the president’s belief that bigger is always better. Nicolas Charbonneau of Harrison Design has come up with an arch Mr. Trump wants to build on a traffic circle facing the Lincoln Memorial across the Potomac that would be taller than the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. At 250 feet, his arch — or Mr. Trump’s arch, to be more accurate — would overshadow the Lincoln Memorial and destroy the subtle relationship between the memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. There is a reason that this land has not had a monument on it. The Lincoln Memorial was designed to be seen not only from the east, down the length of the National Mall, but also from the west, across the Potomac, and this arch would be a huge intrusion on that cherished vista.

Like Mussolini, Mr. Trump grasps at things that he thinks will express the strength of his regime but that only show its vulgarity. The arch, if built, would be less a monument than a roadblock.

Feb 25 , 2026

At 9 pm, Donald J. Trump began what would become the longest State of the Union address in American history. For one hour and forty-eight minutes, he stood in front of the country and delivered a speech that was not about the state of our union at all, but about the state of his own power, and how desperate he is to hold onto it as it slips further and further out of his control. It was full of deliberate lies from start to finish, packed with racist talking points, made-up statistics, twisted grievances, and the kind of unhinged rhetoric that made clear just how afraid he is, not only that the truth about his ties to Epstein will finally come out, but that the full impact of what he’s done to our economy, to our international alliances, to the rule of law, and to the basic systems that hold this country together will finally catch up to him.

And if there was still any doubt about what this night was really about, he erased it himself with this: “These people are crazy. I’m telling you, they’re crazy. Amazing. We’re lucky we have a country. With people like this, Democrats are destroying our country, but we’ve stopped it just in the nick of time, didn’t we?” That’s what the President of the United States said tonight, into the microphone, on national television, in between demands for applause and pauses to catch his breath.

“This is the golden age of America,” he said, through mouth breathing, while leaning on the podium for support. And that’s when the lies began. He said the economy was bad before he took office, and now it had a “stunning economic turnaround”, the “biggest in history.” And then he launched into one of the most bizarre moments of the night: “People are asking me: Please, please, please, Mr. President, we’re winning too much. We can’t take it anymore. We’re not used to winning in our country. Until you came along, we were just always losing, but now we’re winning too much.” No one is saying this. No one has ever said this. This is a man constructing a fantasy in real time and then responding to it as if it were a conversation he actually had. And the room clapped for it.

Then came the line he always circles back to, the one that slipped out again tonight without hesitation: “So in my first year of the second term, it should be my third term, but strange things happen.” He said it like a joke. But this isn’t a joke. This is the President of the United States once again suggesting that the two-term limit doesn’t apply to him. That what happened in 2020 was somehow stolen. That the rules are optional when he doesn’t like the outcome. Is he saying he had no plans to leave? That he still doesn’t? We can’t pretend these moments don’t matter. Because he keeps saying it out loud. And the danger is pretending he doesn’t mean every word of it.

Trump is not 'exonerated' -- There are two sexual assault allegations against Trump involving minors

Beyond any reasonable doubt, Trump is a pedophile rapist.

https://jkbjournalist.substack.com/p/trump-is-not-exonerated

But the files raise even more questions about the President’s association with Epstein — particularly about how much he knew and when he knew it — as well as his effort to protect the powerful people whose names are listed as suspected co-conspirators in the files.

To be clear, there are two sexual assault allegations involving minor girls who have accused Trump of rape that are part of the public record. Both are referenced in the Epstein files.

(snip)

Trump’s handlers at the time denied that [the Katie Johnson allegations] ever happened. But Michael Cohen, who was Trump’s fixer right before the election (he paid off porn star Stormy Daniels) has not adequately answered questions about whether he knew about or was involved with the Katie Johnson/Jane Doe case.

While some media outlets have reported her lawsuit was dropped because her allegations were found to be untrue — that is not the case. Her story has simply not been proven — or disproven. There’s no evidence it was investigated, even though one of her lawyers, Thomas Meagher, filed a report with the FBI in 2016 which was released in the files.

ICE is harming children

Fucking evil GOP asshole funded evil shits are harming young children:

Trump Pardon Buries FBI’s Secret Work for Putin’s Oligarchs; the Pardon Came After a donation of $3.5 million toTrump

Fucking corrupt piece of shit treasonous GOP asshole:

On 15 January 2026, President Donald Trump pardoned a former FBI counterintelligence agent who had refused to testify about his work for Oleg Deripaska and Dmitry Rybolovlev – two Russian oligarchs with direct ties to Vladimir Putin’s inner circle.

The pardon came six months after the daughter of the former agent’s co-defendant, Julio Herrera Velutini, donated $3.5 million to Trump-aligned super PACs. The decision permanently sealed the record of services US intelligence officials secretly provided for sanctioned Russian networks.

Former FBI agent Mark T. Rossini’s business partner – Charles McGonigal, the agency’s former counterintelligence chief in New York – is currently serving more than six years in federal prison for taking Deripaska’s money.

Trump’s pardon extinguished the possibility that Rossini’s services to the Putin-linked oligarchs might come to light, including who directed that work, and whether it connected to Rossini’s involvement in a subsequent bribery scheme involving his co-defendants.

Are We The Nazis Now?

"For anyone who had ever wondered how the Germans turned a blind eye to the Holocaust, we are living through the answer. We watched it start in real time. “Trump promised he’d deport violent criminals,” I wrote last October. “Instead, ICE is going after legal residents and terrorizing children. The message: if you’re an American citizen, don’t exercise your First Amendment rights unless you want to become a target too.” Unfortunately, those words proved correct."

Kennedy Center teaches MAGA a tough lesson

He's such a stupid fucking big baby GOP asshole:
The myth that Donald Trump has a strategic vision took another hilarious blow on Sunday when he threw a tantrum familiar to anyone who has ever dealt with a diagnosable narcissist. Without apparently telling anyone who actually has to deal with it, the 79-year-old toddler president declared on Truth Social that he was shutting down the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for two years following its Fourth of July celebrations.
This “decision” comes a mere six weeks after Trump pretended to be “surprised” and “honored” when the center’s board, which he leads, voted illegally to rename it the Trump-Kennedy Center, a name that no one seems interested in using, at least when out of Trump’s earshot. The president claims the closure, which will likely last the rest of his term, is about “Construction, Revitalization, and Complete Rebuilding.”
Few believe this. Most accept that it is an obvious reaction to the fact that a growing list of artists have cancelled shows at the Kennedy Center to avoid the taint of performing at a place where the word “Trump” was forced onto the building’s signage. The list of cancellations is so long that it has its own Wikipedia page, which features luminaries like Philip Glass, Béla Fleck, the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Washington National Opera and the entire cast of “Hamilton.”
The situation is a great example of how narcissists defeat themselves. As he’s done his whole life, Trump stole a trophy he didn’t earn in the hope that he would impress people. Instead, his grotesque behavior backfired and has drawn even more insults and rejections. But what’s even more fascinating is what this whole debacle tells us about the MAGA movement as a whole, and how Trump is the perfect symbol for their failed culture war aspirations.

Lutnick and Epstein were in business together, Epstein files show

Lying piece of shit GOP asshole:

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has said he had "limited interactions" with Jeffrey Epstein, but documents show they were in business together as recently as 2014. Lutnick and Epstein each signed on behalf of limited liability companies that agreed on Dec. 28, 2012, to acquire stakes in a now-shuttered advertising technology company called Adfin, documents released among the so-called Epstein files show.

As go our forests, so goes our environmental future

By Michael W. Shurgot / Herald Forum

“Once again, President Trump is removing absurd obstacles to common sense management of our natural resources by rescinding the overly restrictive roadless rule,” said U.S. Secretary of Agriculturre Brooke Rollins in announcing recission of the federal Roadless Rule last year.

“Deforestation was a or the major factor in all the collapses of past societies described in this book,” reports Jared Diamond in his book, “Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed.”

The above statements represent two diametrically opposed views of the environmental importance of forests.

The first was quoted by Lynda Mapes in her essay “Wild Alaska At Risk,” published Jan. 4, in Pacific Northwest magazine. The second, from Diamond’s 2005 tome on the history of catastrophic collapses of entire civilizations, summarizes much of his extensive research into past societies that have engineered their own demise through egregious mismanagement of their natural resources, especially forests.

The Rude Pundit: Why Are We Not Purging People in the Epstein Files from the American Government?

 Because GOP assholes, that's why.

So I guess what I keep coming back to is we know who’s involved here. We know that, in some way, at some level, perhaps extensively, starting with being a child rapist, Donald Trump is implicated. We know that US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is in there planning to visit Epstein's pedophile island. There's Musk, Steve Bannon, and all these people that are still somehow involved in our public life, and yet there’s no price, and I can’t get my head around that. I mean, I understand that rich people don’t get punished, but I also understand that rich people don’t get caught. That’s the thing. That’s why rich people get away with it. They don’t get caught. Everybody here is caught.

Or at least accused, and accused with such detail and, in Trump's case, such consistency of stories, and so publicly (and we don't know what else still waits in the millions of pages that haven't been released, let alone the video recordings and photos), that it boggles the mind that we're not talking about a complete meltdown on Capitol Hill, if not the entire goddamned country. I remember when Barack Obama sat in the church where Reverent Jeremiah Wright preached and because Wright had occasionally said some controversial things, it almost undid Obama's candidacy in 2008. I remember Republicans (and some Democrats) losing their minds over the association and his presence in the space where Wright was. That proximity was enough. That was just with someone exercising multiple First Amendment rights. Here, it's with a motherfucking pedophile pimp who was convicted of hiring a child prostitute and was arrested for a shit-ton more a few years later. If you hung out with that guy, if you sent women to work for him, how does that not reflect poorly on you?

At the very least, Democrats and the Republicans who have made this a huge issue should be demanding a special counsel to investigate all of this, but that would mean independence from Trump and that shit just doesn't happen in this government. They should still push for it. And it should be in the front of voters' minds: you give us a majority and we will purge this government of the pedophiles. We will get justice for the victims who were treated so horrifically.

Wouldn't that be a delicious irony? According to QAnon, Trump was supposed to bring down the pedophile-filled Deep State of Democrats. Instead, he installed the pedophiles and protected them. And Democrats are the ones who could bring it to an end. Emphasis on "could."

SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas hit with astonishing accusation in Epstein files

What an incredibly sick GOP asshole:
Sent to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and addressed to two federal judges, the allegation sees a person claiming to be an Epstein victim accuse Johnny Martorano – a notorious hitman and mobster who’s admitted to killing 20 people – of rape. The purported victim also alleged that Martorano – who struck a plea deal in 1999 to serve only 12 years for his crimes – was in communication with Thomas. “John Martorano was the man who raped me and took a picture of me naked and said ‘let's take a picture for Clarence Thomas,’” the individual wrote.

Alex Pretti: Analysing Footage of Minneapolis CBP Shooting

On January 24, Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old intensive care unit nurse at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System, was shot and killed by federal agents on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The shooting comes just over two weeks after Renee Good was shot and killed by a federal agent in the same city.

The United States Department of Homeland Security claimed Pretti was killed after an “armed struggle” with DHS officers and that it seemed he had wanted to “do maximum damage”. Yet video footage shared online, showing shortly before and during the incident, appears to contradict that claim.

Some of the earliest available footage of the encounter was posted to Instagram and shows an agent crossing the street to talk to Pretti who appears to be filming with his phone, which he is holding in his right hand. According to DHS, agents were conducting an immigration arrest in the area.

The agent can be seen placing his hand on Pretti’s torso to push him back and away from the middle of the road towards the sidewalk.

Another video shared on Reddit shows what happened after this initial contact, as well as the lead-up to the shooting. Pretti appears to put himself between two women after they were both shoved by a DHS agent. He is holding a cellphone, held sideways in his right hand.

The murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis on Saturday morning at the hands of federal agents has put wind in the sails of those trying to rein in the Trump administration at the same time it has sent the administration scrambling to regain its course. Popular outcry over the killing of a beloved ICU nurse for the VA and popular organization over the general violence of federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol have unleashed pent up fury over the actions of the Trump administration. The outpouring has reached as far as spaces like a subreddit devoted to videos of people playing cats like bongos, as Drew Harwell and Scott Nover of the Washington Post noted. The anger has been so overwhelming that it has changed the course of national politics. Pretti’s killing has thrown into doubt the passage of a funding package that includes the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

There Is No Compromise With State Terror

Julie Roginsky

An open letter to every Democratic elected official who still believes there is such a thing as working with a regime that murders with impunity and threatens dissent with the language of terror:

The moment has already passed. You are now governing in arrears.

A man is dead in Minneapolis. Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse and an American citizen, was executed by federal immigration agents operating like an occupying force in an American city. This is not a “tragic accident” and the ICE agents who murdered him are not “law enforcement officers.” They are terrorists. This is the predictable outcome of an agency designed to operate without accountability, armed with military equipment, shielded by impunity, and unleashed for political terror.

While Pretti’s blood was still warm on the pavement, Stephen Miller branded anyone who opposes this administration a domestic terrorist and insurrectionist.

Trump's DHS has shot 13 people during immigration enforcement operations since September.
Here's what to know. Federal agents have shot three people in Minneapolis in recent weeks, killing two U.S. citizens, Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Videos contradict the Trump administration's account of their deaths.

-----------------
As the world demonstrated in its rejection of Trump’s threats against Greenland earlier this week, there is only one way to stop Trump. He must face unified, courageous, unwavering resistance. Trump is keen on distracting from the controversial killing of Renee Nicole Good and turning the headlines back to himself, even if they make him look bad, Wolff has said.
This will be hard for some in America’s opposition party who are more inclined to practice the politics of yesterday. They do not understand the different requirements that come with being in the minority in a functioning government and actively having to mobilize to stop the existential threat to their country. The seven Democrats who voted this week to fund DHS clearly fall into this category of misguided non-leaders. So too do some of their colleagues with fancy titles.
But they must see that this is a country in profound crisis. They must recognize that halfway measures, aggrieved speeches, and strongly worded letters are no longer adequate. They must accept that the president of the United States and those close to him are no longer good-faith actors. They must show that the American people will not accept murderers and agents of pain roaming our cities.
In short, the future of this country depends on the fact that more people at every level of our society appreciate, respect, and emulate the courage and resolve of genuine heroes like Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good. We must demonstrate that they did not die in vain by showing we understand why they showed up and stood up when they did. These people died seeking to aid their neighbors and to defend not only their communities, but the idea of an America that is now more at risk than at any time in living memory.
